Keeping the tail up… ElektroMolch aka German-based Kevin Steuer has been a musician and producer for about 16 years. Since getting started at the age of 15, his music has always been heavily influenced by all possible dance-floor-genres, such as House, Euro dance and Electro pop. Later, in 2004 he released his debut-album “Explode” – an Italo-Dance-album, inspired by artists and acts like Gigi D’Agostino, Prezioso or Molella – just to name a few. Also, the German dancefloor act Cascada requested a song from EM, but didn’t like the draft – so instead, “Leave The Love” found its place on the “Explode” album as an ElektroMolch-song. Despite the fact that the album didn’t receive the desired attention, ElektroMolch remained true to its genre during the following years and started collaborating with other artists in the role of a co-producer and remixer. In 2006 a collaboration of him and U.S. singer / songwriter Alison Lorraine (aka Lorayne) won the VH1-Song-of-the-year-contest and should become nominated for a Grammy. Due to bad luck, their song was chucked out within the preliminary decision, because of not being “commercial” enough. At the same time EM started working together with a German duo, Fruehbel feat. Ben Sommerfeld, whose release “Summerwind” regained success after the ElektroMolch-remixes came into play. Oddly, a moment after a porn-video-clip, created by an unknown, was released to the music of EM’s Clubmix. The “Summerwind” single was released in the U.S., just like the follow-up “Insane”, and became quite popular in America’s DJ-scene until – bad luck again – their record company went bankrupt.   EM re-released these remixes in 2013. Nonetheless, EM went on making music, raised two sub-projects and – arrived in 2014 – presents his latest single “Explode 2k14”, a remake of the 2004 classic. Join the 10th anniversary!
